Tenants Protection Association are asking tenants for their help. Helen Gatonyi says "the tables have turned and we are now asking tenants and other users of our services if they can help us as we face losing our home and closing the doors until we can find enough funding to continue our services"
Today, TPA have released the following plea.
Are you one of the many thousands of tenants or hundreds of community organisations who have used our services over the past 32 years? We are asking for your help now. We are facing a cash shortfall, we want to keep the roof over our own head and to continue to operate into the future. This is a tricky time for us right now and we sincerely need your help.
Have we helped you? Are you able to make a donation (nothing is too little) – if every tenant who we have helped gave just $3 we would well and truly reach our target. Or perhaps you would like to make a regular gift to us. You can do this via our webpage www.tpa.org.nz/page/donate
